September 2017 Worship Series: Gifts of the Spirit
The New Testament gives witness to the abundant outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all members of the Christian community for the purpose of participating in God’s mission of redeeming and re-creating all of creation in Christ. During this worship series, we will reflect on the role of the Spirit in the first Christian community in Acts, and on how the Spirit might be at work in our own congregation, calling and empowering us to participate in the mission of God in our congregation, community and world. We will also hear each week from the CMC Gifts Discernment task force about their recent work and new resources for personal and communal gifts discernment at CMC.
