Children’s Sunday School/Nursery

Sunday School

For children ages 2 years old through high school, Sunday school meets for an hour after church (10:30 until 11:30) each Sunday morning from late August through mid-June.  We follow the Gather Round curriculum, published by Faith & Life Press of the Mennonite Publishing Network, for classes age 2 through 8th grade.  High School students use a variety of resources for instruction.  Children engage in singing, Bible stories, memory work and other activities as they learn about God’s love and Christ’s messages of healing and hope.

There is nursery care for children less than two years of age during the Sunday school hour.

Nursery

In order to allow parents to participate more fully in worship service, a volunteer-staffed nursery is provided during worship service for children age two or younger.  The nursery has age-appropriate toys, books, and snacks for children.  In addition, the library room is available as a “quiet space” for nursing parents or to calm a fussy child.  For children ages three through five, “Quiet Bags” (located in the rear of the sanctuary) are available with quiet toys and coloring books for children to use during worship service.

There is also nursery care for children less than two years of age during the Sunday school hour from 10:30 - 11:30.
