Exploring the Synoptic Gospels , Room 204 , Contact Person: Tim Jost This class examines the life and teachings of Jesus through the perspective of the authors of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. We will begin with the ministry of Jesus and continue through his death and resurrection. We do comparative work among these Gospels and do not use other helps for study. Please bring your Bible. WALK class: Just Eating? Practicing Our Faith at the Table Sanctuary “A” Contact Person: Reta Finger Everybody likes to talk about food. This class will use a new curriculum with the above title. Written by Reta's sister Jennifer Halteman Schrock and published by the Presbyterian Hunger Program, this class will focus on: --the health of our bodies and of the earth, which our food choices influence; --the access others have to food; -- use of food for hospitality and enriching relationships. Each participant will receive a spiral-bound book full of resources, information, and inspiration. (A healthy alternative to "Donut Men" --just kiddin')Open Window, Preschool Contact Person: Jennifer North Bauman We gather for conversation. Often we talk about what is going on in our lives, but we regularly read a book together to stimulate and guide conversation.
